Dylan and his twin brother Tyler are alike in many ways. They’re both happy, spunky, two-year-olds, and have the same great big smile. However, there is one thing that the brothers do not share: Dylan was diagnosed with Leukemia in January of 2017. On top of that, he was identified as a high risk patient, meaning that he has a higher risk of relapse.

The higher risk called for more intense and more frequent treatments. Dylan would have to endure multiple rounds of chemotherapy, sometimes up to three a week! He also needed multiple other tough supporting surgeries to make sure his team is doing everything they can to beat the leukemia.

Through it all, Tyler has remained a strong support system for his brother. Not being able to go out and play like most kids his age, Dylan is so lucky to have his built-in best friend to pick him up when he’s feeling down.

For all of their hard work pushing through all of the treatments and tests, Dylan and his family recently visited Disney World through the Make A Wish program, and Icing Smiles was happy to help them celebrate! Icing Smiles provided the centerpiece to Dylan’s send off bash! The trip was a dream come true, and Dylan is continuing to respond well to treatment through his journey.
